Step One:
DUI Evaluation. Patients are evaluated by medical staff to determine the risk level of reoffending. The results of the evaluation determine the amount of time spent in DUI classes.

Step Two:
Court Approved Course Instruction. The course instruction is split into several sessions in a multi-week time period. You attend one session per week and our instructors will teach the dangers of driving under the influence, how it impacts the community, and measures to prevent drunk driving.

Step Three:
12 Step Program. A 12 step program is often recommended as a DUI is a preliminary sign of a struggle with alcohol. The 12 steps provide guidance on how to stop drinking, being honest about one's behaviors, and how to maintain sobriety long term.

Step Four:
Graduation. Patients graduate the DUI course and receive the certificate required by the courts to show completion of the classes. Outpatient treatment can sometimes be recommended to patients depending on severity of addiction.
